About the author

Sinatra was a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and chief of cardiology and director of medical education at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Connecticut. He contributed to peer-reviewed journals including JAMA.
When not writing, Sinatra practiced as a certified bioenergetic psychotherapist and founded the New England Heart Center, where he combined conventional cardiology with nutritional, anti-aging, and psychological therapies.
