Sjögren's (pronounced “show-grins”) syndrome, the most common autoimmune disease after rheumatoid arthritis, can affect both sexes and all races and strike any age from children to the elderly. In Sjögren's Syndrome, the body's immune system attacks its own moisture-producing glands. This book, written by a woman who has Sjögren's, presents and evaluates a full range of treatment options, conventional and alternative, providing unbiased assessments of their possible benefits and side-effects. Author Sue Dyson discusses everything from how Sjögren's affects the body to exercise, pregnancy, and relationships.

About the author
SUE DYSON was the pen name of Susan Morgan (20 July 1957 – 31 October 2009), a British author who wrote health and self-help books for Sheldon Press and best-selling chick-lit novels under the name Zoe Barnes. Her books include Positive Options for Sjögren’s Syndrome: Self-Help and Treatment and The Migraine Diet Book.
Dyson also translated French novels into English, including works by Christian Jacq.
Dyson herself suffered from Sjögren’s syndrome, and her book Positive Options for Sjögren’s Syndrome drew on that personal experience to present both conventional and alternative treatment options.
