Tamara Kreuz

TAMARA KREUZ has been rescuing cats since 1989 and is the author of The Stray Cat Handbook, a practical guide to trapping, caring for, and rehoming stray and feral cats.

Kreuz is a member of the Cat Writers Association and has received a CWA Certificate of Excellence for magazine articles published in Cats Magazine and I Love Cats, among other publications.

When she’s not writing, Kreuz volunteers at shelters and has drawn on her experience as a former demonstrator for a premium cat food company to advise hundreds of individuals on problems involving homeless cats. That hands-on advocacy runs throughout her work on stray and feral cat care.

Tamara Kreuz’s books are published by Howell Book House, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
