Therese Chynoweth

THERESE CHYNOWETH is a knitwear designer and technical editor and the author of two books on knitting. Her recent books include Knitting Cozy: Outdoorsy Patterns for Warmth and Style and Norwegian Sweater Techniques for Today’s Knitter.

Chynoweth worked for Dale of Norway for approximately ten years, serving as yarn director with additional roles in pattern editing, marketing, and teaching. Her designs have appeared in Vogue Knitting, Knit Simple, and Interweave Knits.

When she’s not writing, Chynoweth offers workshops at major industry events and teaches at yarn shops and other venues. Her books draw on traditional Norwegian construction methods and patterns for warmth and style.

Therese lives in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
