Tom Smith

TOM SMITH, M.D. holds the qualifications MB ChB and Dip Pharm Med and worked for years as a general practitioner and medical researcher before becoming a full-time writer. His books include Seaside Practice: Tales of a Scottish Country Doctor, Coping Successfully with Hiatus Hernia and Living with Angina.

Smith is recognised as an award-winning medical writer. He has contributed regularly to medical journals, written health columns for newspapers, and made television and radio appearances.

Tom lives in Scotland.
