About the authors
SHMUEL YORAV, M.D., is a senior physician at Sheba Medical Center Tel Hashomer Hospital and a specialist in dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, laser treatment, and phototherapy for acne.
Yorav graduated from the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine and served as a medical commanding officer in the Israel Defense Forces. He holds membership in the Israeli Society of Dermatology and Venereology, the Israeli Society for Dermatological Surgery, and the American and European Academies of Dermatology.
When not writing, Yorav maintains a private clinic in Tel Aviv and works as a pharmaceutical consultant.
Shmuel lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
ZEEV PAM, M.D., was a dermatologist and founder of Derma Pam Ltd., an Israeli pharmaceutical manufacturer, established in 2010.
Pam was an alumnus of the first graduating class of the Technion Faculty of Medicine, Haifa, in 1978, and specialized in dermatology and venereology at Rambam Health Care Campus, Haifa, in 1990. He served as chief executive officer of Aripam Medical Center in Ashdod, Israel, from 1991 to 2013, and was a full member of the Israeli Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Zeev Pam passed away on January 20, 2013.
