Abortion and Judaism (12 pk)
LifeLights™—help for wholeness & healing—is a high-quality, uniquely Jewish pastoral care resource.
LifeLights™ are inspirational, informational booklets about challenges to our emotional and spiritual lives and how to deal with them. Each of the LifeLight topics is written by a wise and caring soul—someone you probably know or know about—who knows the inner territory of grief, doubt, confusion, and longing.
Each LifeLight contains uniquely Jewish comfort, advice, and additional resources for help. In addition to providing wise words to light a difficult path, every booklet offers suggestions for further reading, and many list organizations—Jewish and secular—that can provide further help along with information on how to contact them.
Over 1,000 congregations, organizations, care facilities, and funeral homes bring LifeLights™ to people in need. We have received touching, powerful feedback both from those who have made LifeLights available, and from people who have used them. LifeLights are having a dramatic effect on people facing difficult times—providing comfort and even saving lives.

About the author
RABBI DENNIS S. ROSS is a reproductive rights advocate and the author of All Politics Is Religious: Speaking Faith to the Media, Policy Makers and Community and God in Our Relationships: Spirituality between People from the Teachings of Martin Buber.
Ross serves as director of Concerned Clergy for Choice at the Education Fund of Family Planning Advocates of New York State, a multifaith network of religious leaders from Baptist, Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Unitarian Universalist, United Church of Christ, Jewish, Buddhist and Islamic traditions. He also consults to Planned Parenthood on clergy organizing, religion in the media and religious lobbying.
When he’s not writing, Ross speaks regularly on religion and the media at professional conferences, college campuses, houses of worship and health centers. His books draw on that work at the intersection of faith, politics and reproductive rights.
