About the author
MARIA HOLL is a psychotherapist and alternative medicine practitioner and the developer of Tinnitus Alleviation Therapy (TAT), a method drawing on psychotherapy, self-massage, and ancient Chinese medicine to activate the body’s self-healing powers. She is the author of several books and audio recordings on tinnitus alleviation.
In 1996, Holl was invited by ear, nose, and throat specialist Dr. Herbert Philipps to help his patients seeking relief from tinnitus, which led directly to the development of TAT. Her work has been published in multiple languages.
When she is not writing, Holl has conducted individual therapy and group courses in tinnitus alleviation therapy for children and adults since 1996, work that forms the practical foundation of all her books and recordings.
Maria lives in Aachen, Germany.
