About the author
JULIAN TREASURE’s five TED talks on sound and communication have been viewed more than 50 million times, with How To Speak So That People Want To Listen ranking in the top 10 TED talks of all time at over 20 million views on TED.com alone. His books include How To Be Heard and Sound Business.
Treasure is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors. He has been featured as a sound and communication expert in TIME Magazine, The Economist and The Times.
When he’s not writing, Treasure draws on more than 30 years of experience as a speaker and performs as a musician, with two BBC John Peel sessions to his name from 1981.
Julian lives in Orkney, Scotland with Jane and their daughter Holly.
