Jewish Adoption: Unique Issues, Practical Solutions (12 pk)
LifeLights™—help for wholeness & healing—is a high-quality, uniquely Jewish pastoral care resource.
LifeLights™ are inspirational, informational booklets about challenges to our emotional and spiritual lives and how to deal with them. Each of the LifeLight topics is written by a wise and caring soul—someone you probably know or know about—who knows the inner territory of grief, doubt, confusion, and longing.
Each LifeLight contains uniquely Jewish comfort, advice, and additional resources for help. In addition to providing wise words to light a difficult path, every booklet offers suggestions for further reading, and many list organizations—Jewish and secular—that can provide further help along with information on how to contact them.
Over 1,000 congregations, organizations, care facilities, and funeral homes bring LifeLights™ to people in need. We have received touching, powerful feedback both from those who have made LifeLights available, and from people who have used them. LifeLights are having a dramatic effect on people facing difficult times—providing comfort and even saving lives.

About the author
HAROLD BERMAN is an attorney, nonprofit leader, and co-author, with Gayle Redlingshafer Berman, of Doublelife: One Family, Two Faiths and a Journey of Hope.
Berman earned his law degree, cum laude, from Boston College and a bachelor’s degree from New England Conservatory of Music. He served as former Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts, and his writing has appeared in the Boston Globe, Jerusalem Post, Times of Israel, and The Forward.
When not writing, Berman draws on his background as a trained musician, having served as principal clarinetist of the U.S. Air Force Band of the West in San Antonio, Texas. That breadth of experience across music, law, and faith community leadership shapes his nonfiction work.
Harold lives in Israel, where he and his family made aliyah.
