About the author
WILLIAM CUTTER is a rabbi and scholar who has served as professor of modern Hebrew literature at Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion. He is the editor of Midrash & Medicine: Healing Body and Soul in the Jewish Interpretive Tradition and Healing and the Jewish Imagination: Spiritual and Practical Perspectives on Judaism and Health.
Cutter holds a PhD and has held the Steinberg Professor of Human Relations chair at Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion. He also served as director of the Kalsman Institute on Judaism and Health and has published widely on health and healing.
