About the author
JANICE ZARRO BRODMAN holds a PhD in political economy from Harvard University and is the author of Sex Rules!
Brodman served as Director of the Center for Innovative Technologies at EDC, a global nonprofit founded by MIT scholars, and has written articles published by The MIT Press, the Harvard Institute for International Development, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, among others.
When she’s not writing, Brodman draws on 24 years as an international development expert, having lived, worked, or traveled in 35 countries on projects for the UN and World Bank focused on small business development and ending violence against women and girls. Her work in that field shapes the research underlying Sex Rules!
