About the author
D.B. JACKSON is a novelist, screenwriter, and cattle rancher and the author of three novels: Small Moving Parts, Unbroke Horses and They Rode Good Horses, as well as short stories published by High Hill Press, La Frontera Publishing, and others. His screenplays include a television series adaptation of They Rode Good Horses, a feature film adaptation of Unbroke Horses, and a feature film entitled Half Past Nine.
Jackson’s honors include the Western Heritage Wrangler Award, the Will Rogers Medallion Award (twice), the Western Fictioneers Peacemaker Award, three Laramie Awards, and the Eric Hoffer Literary Award. Small Moving Parts was a 2019 Foreword Reviews Indies Award Winner and an International Book Awards Finalist.
When he’s not writing, Jackson works as a cattle rancher.
