A witty introduction to Milo Stewart. The start of this journal gives an up close and personal seat to Milo Stewart’s start as a pansexual teen in the hallways of their middle school in Ankeny, Iowa. It is there, where they discover transgender teens are everywhere, living, breathing, and thriving in mundane and ordinary spaces, and where they come into their nonbinary and trans identities
Questions, resources, and prompts to get you thinking. Write down your own experiences with questions and guided journal prompts written to get you to reflect in a safe space. Write about your sexual identity, gender identity, and finally discover yourself. Reflect on who you’ve been and who you want to be, embrace yourself in a whole new way; finding yourself is the goal!
Inside, you’ll find:

About the author
MILO STEWART holds a degree in Peace, Justice and Conflict Studies from DePaul University and is completing a master’s degree in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies, with academic work published in DePaul’s undergraduate journal Creating Knowledge.
Stewart presented a paper at the Neuchâtel Graduate Conference 2021 on Migration and Mobility Studies.
When not writing, Stewart builds a YouTube channel integrating personal reflections on gender and sexuality with accessible discussions of trans and queer theory, working to extend that scholarship beyond academia and create community for LGBT+ people of all backgrounds. This commitment to LGBT+ visibility and displaced communities shapes their focus on queer experiences and drives their career working with LGBT+ displaced people.
