Karen Bussen

KAREN BUSSEN is a wedding planner, event designer, and author who has designed more than 100 weddings and whose Simple Stunning series totaled more than 130,000 copies in print across its first four volumes. She is the author of the Simple Stunning series, published by Stewart, Tabori & Chang.

Bussen’s work has been featured in InStyle Weddings, Cosmopolitan, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Modern Bride, and she has appeared on the Today show, the CBS Early Show, and the DIY Network series Home Made Easy.

When she’s not writing, Bussen draws on her background in the New York City restaurant industry, including co-founding Follonico with chef Alan Tardi and earlier work at Union Square Cafe. She is also a self-taught florist.

Karen lives in France.
