Laurel Lee Steele

LAUREL LEE STEELE is a physician’s assistant and allergy specialist at a clinic focused on food allergies and intolerances. She is the author of The Corn-Free Cookbook & Survival Guide: For the Corn-Intolerant and Corn-Allergic, co-written with Merelee Knott.

The book presents more than 150 corn-free recipes alongside practical guidance on reading food labels and identifying corn derivatives, with a foreword by allergist Stephen A. Tilles, M.D.

When she’s not writing, Steele works directly with patients navigating food allergies and intolerances in a clinical setting. Her work in that field shapes the practical, guidance-driven approach at the heart of the cookbook.

Laurel lives in Richmond, Washington.

Laurel Lee Steele’s books are published by Cumberland House Publishing, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
