About the author
LISA A. SHELDON is a nutritionist and the author of Olive Oil Baking.
Sheldon holds a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has taught Human Nutrition for Athletic Training Majors as an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She also served as a Teaching Associate at the University of Massachusetts and wrote a monthly nutrition column for The Advocate.
When she’s not writing, Sheldon works as a nutritionist, drawing on experience in catering and restaurant kitchens, local soup kitchens, and community nutrition programs, as well as a role as Counseling Nutritionist at Kripalu Center for Yoga. This hands-on background in food and health informs her practical approach to nutrition.
Lisa lives in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
