Thomas Yannios

THOMAS YANNIOS, M.D., is a board-certified internist specializing in critical care medicine and cardiology, and the author of The Heart Disease Breakthrough and The Food Report Card.

Yannios received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1976, completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science, and trained in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Beth Israel). His research has appeared in JAMA and Chest. He serves as Associate Director of Critical Care and Nutritional Support at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York, and as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical.
